Class Descriptions:

In our Tap I class students will develop their coordination and rhythm through this introduction to Broadway style tap dancing. As the year progresses, they will add a variety of fundamental steps to their repertoire and increase their speed and accuracy. We will combine what we learn into fun choreography to be performed at the year end recital. No experience required, differentiated instruction methods will meet each dancer at their level.
In our Tap II class students will expand their tap vocabulary. They will learn new combinations and increase their speed and accuracy. Once they have a repertoire of steps, they will have the chance to improvise and develop their musicianship. We will then prepare to dazzle the audience at the year end recital. Some prior dance experience (not necessarily tap) is highly recommended.
